Jordin Sparks is an American singer, actress, and songwriter. She was born on  December 22, 1989. Currently, Sparks is 31 years old.  Her nickname is Jo Jo. She has got fame in 2007 at the age of 17, after winning the sixth season of American Idol, becoming the youngest winner in the series’ history.

Her self-titled debut studio album has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. she was featured in Torrid ads and promotional pieces in California.

The Plan

She warm up with 3 minutes of jumping rope, then does 1 set of each move in order without resting in between. She then pauses for 60 seconds, then repeats the circuit twice more. A jump rope and a pair of 5- to 8-pound dumbbells is the equipment which we need for this.

Pushup to Side Plank

She does this workout for the core and arms. She did this plank 10 reps.

Mountain Climber

She performs this exercise for the core butt and legs. she gets in plank position feet hip-width apart. She also pulls her right knee toward her chest. Extend right leg and pull the left knee toward chest to complete 1 rep.  she does this  20 reps.

V-Up

This workout is for abs.

Sparks lie down faceup on the floor, arms extended overhead and thumbs interlocked. She then raises her upper body off the floor as she lifts her left leg, reaching fingers toward her toes. She now then return to starting position and repeat on the opposite side to complete 1 rep. She does this 10 reps.

Squat Thrust to Curl and Press

She does this workout for legs, butt, and arms. She does this 10 reps.

After 2 years of workouts, Sparks can now perform exercises like a bicep curl, triceps extension, shoulder press, etc. She does  12 reps of these exercises in her daily workout. She likes Zumba. She also does other outdoor activities like going hiking in the mountains or strolling her dog.

Jordin Sparks Weight Loss Diet Plan

Sparks revised her whole food regimen for getting slimmer. She eats fewer calories and removed all the junk food and unhealthy items from her daily food menu. She reduced sugar consumption to its lowest amount. For that, she had sacrificed her coffee. . She also stopped taking late-night dinners. She doesn’t eat anything, 2 hours before going to bed at night. She also starts to feed on healthier snacks such as apples and SmartFood Popcorn.

She ditched eating heavy diets and started to eat in lesser portions. Her food was just enough to fit a plate of normal size at that time. But she did not stop eating all the food items. She went for the Brownie when she loves to eat it. In a single day, she consumes almost 1440 calories.

  • Breakfast – She likes to have yogurt and granola protein shake, apple, banana, or a protein bar as her breakfast.
  • Lunch – she eats grilled chicken, arugula salad, olive oil with lemon.
  • Dinner – Her dinner menu is salad, 3 or 4-ounce streak, and corn.
