This kills the bacteria but the enzymes in milk are also destroyed. The taste of milk also changes. But grass-fed milk is pasteurized at a lower temperature. Some even cold-press it. This preserves its taste and keeps the enzymes intact.

Types of grass-fed whey proteins

There are different types of grass-fed whey proteins. When the raw product is unprocessed and used to make a concentrate it is raw grass-fed whey protein. This is hard to digest. The second type is regular or concentrate grass-fed whey proteins. Here the grass-fed whey proteins are mildly processed. In this, there are some carbohydrates and fats and hence can be easier to digest. And the third type is isolate grass-fed whey proteins. These require a lot of processing for their synthesis but are best as regards digestion and absorption.
